Update from the ground:

Our local partners have bought and installed a total amount of 50 surgical sets in the regional hospital of Herat.
This hospital is the biggest government hospital in the province of Herat and has a capacitity of 650 beds.
The local personnel had only 30 used and mainly disfunctioning surgical instrument sets.
This was not enough to treat the hundreds of patients presenting daily due to the Herat Earthquake

Your donations have helped the medical personnel to provide adequate and more qualititaive care of the injured earthquake victims!

Keep up your support by donating to our cause and sharing our donation links within your circle!

A total of 7600 euros was raised with our first fundraiser.

Our colleagues on the ground went to Nawak village where the distribution of winter jackets, personal items and other clothing items have been donated to those in need.

Thanks to all of you many children affected by the earthquakes will feel a sense of warmth and will feel cared for tonight.

Please keep donating to our new cause in collaboration with @doctorswithoutborders / @artsenzondergrenzen - so we can provide medical relief to those in need!
