The first web lecture about COVID-19 management in the ICU, was provided by dr. Ismael Ghariq, anesthesiologist, and currently a fellow at the intensive care.
More than 30 doctors and other health care professional from Afghanistan (Kabul, Herat, Farah, Balkh, Daikundi, Badakhshan provinces), the Netherlands and USA participated. After an informative lecture, an interactive Question & Answer session was held.

Overall, the web lecture and accompanying Q&A session yielded positive feedback and emphasized the need and importance of bilateral contact between health care professionals in Afghanistan and Western countries.
